Join Gopal Dayaneni, Ana Rosa Rizo-Centino, David Cobb, and Michelle Vassel, as we explore the intersection between justice and climate and the systems that marginalize and oppress. Our speakers will share their involvement with Just Transition projects such as Dishgamu Humboldt, an Indigenous-led Community Land Trust.

Join Lyla June Johnston, Emily Kawano, and Richard Heinberg as they discuss new economic and political answers that have been emerging to meet the needs and challenges of our time. What kinds of changes are possible in our current system? What new systems show potential for building a thriving economy based on nature and human rights? How do we actually divest from the fossil fuel economy? What is the 7th generation new deal?
Climate Justice is Social Justice– October 4 at 5 pm PST/8 pm EST
The Transition movement should be all about both climate and social justice – but is it? Could we do much better? If so, how? This workshop will feature a blend of participant interaction and brief remarks by special guests drawn from across the climate and social justice worlds.

Crisis as Catalyst for Transformation– Oct. 3 at 1 pm PT/4 pm EST
Join Rupa Marya, Tom Llewellyn, and Elaine Miller-Karas as they discuss new and innovative ways to not only respond to crises but to open new opportunities and possibilities for our communities. This session invites us to work with the energy of these uncertain times to transform our communities and our world to be more resilient, just, and regenerative.
The award-winning 30-minute film explores how the mutual aid centers sprung up across Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria while centering the voices of those involved in these bold grassroots relief efforts and the movement for popular power that is continuing to emerge.

Join NorCal Resilience Network founder Susan Silber as she shares her experiences & insights in developing a network of resilience hubs, spaces, & blocks in Northern California, from finding funding to support projects to catalyzing an 8-month leadership training in collaboration with local governmental agencies.

Join Cooperation Humboldt as they share their specific work with developing cooperatives and a cooperative ecosystem. The workshop will also touch on their efforts to create an Indigenous-led land trust, and their collaboration with local partners, including the County, the Small Business Development Center, and the local community college.

As we approach the end of the 2021 Regenerative Communities Summit, it’s time to step into the question of What’s Next? During this three-hour, online adaptation of an Open Space Technology event, we’ll explore how our communities and groups can learn from each other, support each other, and work together to bring about a more just and regenerative future.
